Diabetes);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examining eyes and fitting spectacles or contact lenses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offering advice and reassurance about vision-related matters;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offering help and advice for patients choosing frames and lenses;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing referral communications to doctors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaising with other medical practitioners and sometimes sharing the care of patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertaking continuing education and training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing staff, including dispensing opticians and clerical staff, and training junior staff,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing the retail aspect of spectacles, contact lenses and other vision care products;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administering, organising and planning the development of the practice;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaising with sales representatives from vision care product suppliers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the surgeon in refractive operating room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution or an Optician Certificate from Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positive working attitude<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salary will be commensurate based on experience and qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested candidates, please click&nbsp;<strong>Apply&nbsp;<\/strong>or send your detailed Resume to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HR@ascendrecruitment.sg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ascend Recruitment Pte Ltd (EA License No.: 24C2089)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">April Lim (Reg.
